Autumn Acres

Well, we weren't sure if we were gonna make it to Autumn Acres this year -- but we ended up getting to squeeze it in between church times on Sunday the 8th. I had heard about this months ago and have been planning on us going ever since. This farm is located in Crossville, Tennessee and it was so much fun! The last day was the 8th - so we made it just in time! They had corn mazes, slides, animals, hayrides, kiddie rides, a jumping pillow, a pumpkin patch and of course -- FOOD! I'll explain as we go...
~~~
We picked the kiddie corn maze - which was a good thing because we even got lost in it! They have a total of three mazes...whew, I don't even want to think about going into one of those harder ones! :)
The Barnes Boys -- leading the way...
Zachary was excited to find all of the "hidden clues" until we went twenty minutes without seeing any of them!!
In this picture he was saying, "Okay Mom, I'm done. Do we have to stay in this thing the whole time?!?!?" I was ready to get out too!! :)
Ah, back to daylight! Zachary and Nathan had fun going down the slides...yes, I said Nathan too!
I got the bright idea to climb the tire and help Zachary up....not one of my brightest ideas!
But we made it!
This was just horrible....I mean, I love meat - but seriously?
The hayride...
It was slim pickins on the pumpkins ~ but Zachary didn't mind at all!
The pillow....
Zachary's quote..."Mommy, we need to tell Santa that we don't have one of these!"
Sure thing Zachary, I'll get right on that! :)
Halloween 2009
Well, Halloween was pretty interesting this year with two little ones! Zachary was a Tennessee Titan and Eli was a sailor! Too cute for words! We went to Trunk or Treat at our church first, then headed up and down main street doing the candy thing! It's funny because none of us are really candy eaters, even Zachary - but there is just something about getting it on Halloween that keeps us coming back for more! :) Anyway - we ended the evening as we have the last four years ~ dinner at Cracker Barrel! It was a great night!
Daddy and Eli
Me and My Buddy
Ms. Pam (one of Zachary's teachers at preschool too) as one of the Trunk or Treaters!
Look close - Eli even had a Trick-or-Treat container! And no, I didn't give him the suckers inside!
Hadlee, Preslee and Zachary
We ran into the crew from the Wizard of Oz ~ a fun family at church!
Ah the food ~ I'm such a country girl when it comes to eating! A meat and three for us all!
Until next year...
Little Lights Fall Party
Finally! Here come the pictures... Zachary's Fall Party at preschool was on the 29th and we all had a great time. It is so much fun to see all of the little ones dressed up in their outfits! TOO CUTE! Zachary decided on a Tennessee Titan this year...and yes, he wore it proudly! We played lots of games and had some great food and fellowship!
Zachary and his best friend Issac
The "Spider Web" Game
"Let Your Light Shine" with Ms. Tiffany
They aren't picking their noses -- they are doing a motion in the song...
...I think. :)
Pin the nose on the pumpkin...with a little help in direction!
Until then, if you want to get a good luck at Zachary's fall party at preschool - you can visit their blog by clicking here. I hope to have more pics up soon...
