Well, we weren't sure if we were gonna make it to Autumn Acres this year -- but we ended up getting to squeeze it in between church times on Sunday the 8th. I had heard about this months ago and have been planning on us going ever since. This farm is located in Crossville, Tennessee and it was so much fun! The last day was the 8th - so we made it just in time! They had corn mazes, slides, animals, hayrides, kiddie rides, a jumping pillow, a pumpkin patch and of course -- FOOD! I'll explain as we go...
~~~
We picked the kiddie corn maze - which was a good thing because we even got lost in it! They have a total of three mazes...whew, I don't even want to think about going into one of those harder ones! :)
The Barnes Boys -- leading the way...
Zachary was excited to find all of the "hidden clues" until we went twenty minutes without seeing any of them!!
In this picture he was saying, "Okay Mom, I'm done. Do we have to stay in this thing the whole time?!?!?" I was ready to get out too!! :)
Ah, back to daylight! Zachary and Nathan had fun going down the slides...yes, I said Nathan too!
I got the bright idea to climb the tire and help Zachary up....not one of my brightest ideas!
But we made it!
This was just horrible....I mean, I love meat - but seriously?
The hayride...
It was slim pickins on the pumpkins ~ but Zachary didn't mind at all!
The pillow....
Zachary's quote..."Mommy, we need to tell Santa that we don't have one of these!"
Sure thing Zachary, I'll get right on that! :)
