We Have Ourselves A Ball Player!!

The last game that we have had was Friday night -- and Zachary had a GREAT game!  He had two home-runs and assisted in three first-base outs!!  He did awesome!  Such a little ball player.  We weren't prepared for the cooler weather that night, so E, T and I about froze...but we made it through!!  It wasn't anything that some fruit loops, animal crackers and a couple of dinosaurs couldn't handle!!

Baseball: Cousin Rivalry

The other night was a fun game to be at as Zachary's team faced off again Zoe & Madison's team!!  Zachary's team beat them last time, so they were in it for a second victory.  Zachary played great and so did the girls -- and they even went into overtime!!  But the end of the game came down to Madison's hit that scored the winning points!!  Everyone was super excited about the game, but Zachary did have a hard time with the loss.  Don't worry, they still love each other though!!

I LOVE this last picture!  Madison got the game ball for her hit!  I snapped the picture of her and then realized Zachary in the background!  TOO FUNNY!!!  Go guys!!

1st Grade Awards Day

Oh my, I cannot believe that my little Zachary is done with the first grade and now a 2nd grader!!  It seems like only yesterday Nathan and I took him to his first day of preschool.  :(  However, I am so proud of our little man and I cannot believe how good he is doing in school.  He got four awards on awards day, The All Sports Award for being the one in the class who was involved in the most sports activities.  He got The Mathematician Award for having the highest math grades in his class.  He got The Home Reader Award for reading 67 books in school this year.  And he got The Completion award for finishing this grade and moving on to the next!  I'm so proud of my little buddy!!

Memorial Day Cook Out

Memorial Day night we headed over to Daddy & Doris' house for a cookout!  Uncle Brian grilled us up some yummy food and we just had a good time hanging out with family.  There was food, football and a lot of laughs!  We feel so blessed to live so close to Nathan's parents.  They really are such a huge part of our lives and our boys' lives.  And of course any excuse for a free meal for these boys is a good move in my book!!  HAHA The boys also got to hang out with their cousins which is always a plus!!
