2011 Vacation: Family Beach Shots

One night we all headed down to the beach at sunset for some family shots. Ours turned out really good I thought!

My Best Friend...I love this man!

2011 Vacation: Campfires

And of course, our vacation wouldn't be complete without a night around the campfire full of marshmellows, chocolate, family and song!

2011 Vacation: Happily Ever After

Bama and Grampa celebrated 65 years of marriage while we were on vacation. They are such an example to all of us! I love them so much and I am so proud of them! Everyone celebrated with them by taking them out for lunch and an afternoon in town. It was such a beatufiul day!

Daddy & His Girls

All The Girls

The SistersAnd I think here Uncle Thom and Bama were checking out all of the kites that were flying at the nearby beach.

2011 Vacation: Feeding Chip

Another fun tradition that we enjoyed while growing up was feeding the local chipmunks. We decided a long time ago and convinced ourselves as kids that the same chipmunk came back to meet us each year and eat from our hands...and so we named him Chip. :) And every year that we came to Michigan, he was there waiting on us to feed him again! He had been missing in action the last couple of years until we were surprised one evening during our vacation...and guess what? Chip still lives in Mackinaw and still comes around to enjoy the sunflower seeds from my children!! :) What loyalty!! Zachary and Preston loved it! There faces lit up so much when he ate from their hands and let them pet him -- and I must admit, it was pretty fun to feed my old friend again too.
