Celebrating Nathan!!

With all the craziness of schedules and events to go to in June – I never want to overlook our own amazing Daddy figure!  Not only is he hands down the best example of a Godly Father that I know, he is my best friend and my soul mate!  I don’t think that I could have imagined a better man for our boys to look up to than Nathan.  He is patient, caring, kind, fun…the list could go on and on.  But the best thing about him in my opinion is that he leads by example.  And he does not go unnoticed.  I am so proud of you Nate!  Happy Father’s Day!

PS – Happy 37th Birthday too, old man!!

Father’s Day With Daddy/Doris

On Father’s Day, we got together with Matthew, Missy, Daddy & Doris for a cookout.  The boys had a blast playing in the water sprinkler and then getting to pick veggies from Grandaddy’s garden.  We are so thankful for Byron and love the fact that he and Doris live so close.  Zachary, Eli and Tyler sure do love their Grandaddy!

Summer Pool Days

Here are some clips from our pool trips during the month of June!  We love going to the pool in the summer and do so about twice a week if not more.  Zachary is swimming by himself now and has learned to dive!  (Even off the diving board!)  Eli and Tyler have no fear when it comes to water – which of course instills fear inside me every time we go!  But they are very good when it comes to obeying and stay very close to Mommy or Zachary.  We have so much fun and feel so blessed – especially on the days that Daddy comes swimming with us!!

Celebrating June

On Sunday, June 3rd, we all headed down to Dad & Mom’s house for our annual summer celebration.  This time we celebrated birthdays for Megan, Rachel, Nathan and Preston.  We also did Father’s Day for Dad and Grandaddy.  All and all it was a great afternoon!  The boys had a blast tearing into Preston’s cake too!  Totally gross but worth every picture.

A Moment In Time: May

May pictures include some hilarious ones of Zachary’s sleep study, adorable Tyler shots, car shots, park dates and some others that need a little more explaining.  Those will be before the slide show.

Tyler's new favorite snack is toothpaste -- and he breaks up with me every time I take it away.

Spending the day with my boys:
New tires for the truck, $600. A half tank of gas, $35. Lunch at Arby's, $27!!!
Seeing these faces in the back seat and knowing they are safe and not hungry... PRICELESS!!!

My Pandora bracelet is almost complete! The boys have been building it for me for a couple of years now. I'll explain the charms from L to R starting near the clasp...
The black and white flower came with the bracelet as a bride's maid gift. Her colors were black and white. (Thanks again
Wendi Ricketts!)
The next is a purple and white charms for Zachary's team colors.
Next, a Bible to represent my faith in my Lord.
Next is a pink flower since it's my favorite color.
Next is my "Nurse" charm.
The next six are the initial of our boys' names with their birthstones.
After the next separator charm are
Nathan and my birthstones followed by our anniversary stone and then the charm that stands for "Forever Love."
