Valentine's Surprise!!

Even though I joke a lot about needing another girl in the house...I am so blessed to have a beautiful and wonderful man of God for a husband and two adorable little boys to watch grow up. Not to mention -- on special days such as Valentine's Day -- I get to play the part of the "Valentine" to three boys!! :) I'm so spoiled! Well, the three of them surprised me when I came home from work last Saturday morning. Nathan and Zachary had raided my scrapbooking room for cardstock paper, stamps, ink and scissors to make me some cards. They know what touches my heart!!! I also had two other cards from them and some beautiful pink/red tulips -- some of my favorites flowers!! Thanks guys!

My favorite gift....

The boys were excited to get some presents of their own from mommy and daddy!

And thanks to Grandaddy and Granny - Nathan and I went on a dinner and a movie date -- we saw "Dear John" .... WONDERFUL!!

Happy Birthday Madison!

Little Madison, Zachary's cousin, turned 5 exactly 6 weeks after Zachary did and we celebrated her party on February 13th! While the pictures are short in number, the fun wasn't!! Happy B Madison!

Preschool Valentine's Party

So on Thursday, February 11th, Zachary's preschool had a Valentine's Day party. These parties are always so much fun because the children really get into all of the activities. This year, they played a lot of games, exchanged Valentine's cards and had banana splits for snack! Very good!!

Bethany, Hadlee or Preslee (we don't know which one!), Tucker and Zachary

Ms Paulette and Ms Tiffany serving out the banana splits!!

And little Eli joined the fun too!!

It's Like A Winter Wonderland!!

I must be honest -- I am not like most people around here...I'm actually LOVING the snow! I don't like driving on ice, but I think all of this snow is making for a beautiful countryside view, tons of "dangerous" sledding opportunities and some great pictures!!!! :) We are having a blast!

Basketball 2010

Zachary is participating in the basketball instructional league again this year -- and he is doing GREAT! We really are amazed at how much he has progressed since this time last year. Plus, he is really getting into it and understands the sport better than anything else he has played. Next year he might move up to the actual league team, but we will see. Here are just a few pics from one practice -- I am so proud of him!

Will post more pics on this again soon...

Our Little TN Titan is Big 5!!!!

On December 27th, our little buddy turned 5 years old!!!! Or "Big 5" as he calls it! (sniff, sniff...) We celebrated his birthday on January 16th with a Tennessee Titan themed party. The theme worked out pretty good too -- at Zachary's request, everyone wore their Titans gear and we served up football time food. We had hot dogs, chicken wings, fruit trays, vegetable trays, sausage balls, sweet trays, coke, juices, ice cream, cake, etc.... It was very fun! This was the first year that we let him invite his friends over, along with the family and I must say -- it was quite an adventure!! We ended up having 21 adults, 2 teenagers, 10 kids and 1 baby!! But it was a lot of fun! I cannot believe that my little man is five years old now...it seems as though the past five years have flown by...but in the same breath, I can't really remember life without him!

Serving out the cake and ice cream...

Some of the guests...
Aunt Nancy and Granny Hudson
Grammie and the Birthday Boy

Little Preston
Present time was hilarious! I could hardly take any pictures because of all the little ones crowded around!

And little Eli even got dressed up for the celebration!
Zachary's room was chaos after the party...but hey, it was totally worth it!

Thanks to all for sharing with us during this time! We can't wait until next year!!
