"Home Sweet Home" Christmas

After Christmas morning at our home, we all loaded up and headed out to Mom and Dad's house...I love this tradition!! Sitting in my parents' living room with all the family is one of the things I enjoy the most about this time of year!!! Not too many pics due to juggling two children -- but the memories are there!

"He Came!! Santa Really, REALLY CAME!!!"

Christmas morning came early for us when our beautiful four year old ran into our room screaming at the top of his lungs...
"He came!! Santa really, REALLY came!!!!"
Gotta love the faith of a child! It was really neat this year to experience Christmas morning with two little ones...and we are so thankful for it! Zachary got TONS of presents from Santa...maybe he/she should keep better track of the gift buying next year!! :) Eli enjoyed watching all of the excitement too. But I'll let the pictures tell the rest of the story...

Christmas Eve...setting out the cookies, milk and reindeer food.

Christmas Morning...actually at about 0100!

Emptying the stockings...one of my favorite memories growing up!
(Can I get a "what-what" Sheldon girls??)

Eli got Enfamil in his stocking...Imagine that!!

Eli decided to tear into a present before they all got handed out....he knows what to do!

The Boys...

Wait -- there was more on the porch?????
More pictures to come of him actually RIDING it -- once he got over the scare factor!
Great Christmas morning...but it wasn't over yet!

Little Lights Preschool Christmas Party

One thing I love about being a mom is getting to be a part of all the events that go on with Zachary at preschool. And I am so thankful that the Lord has blessed us and I get to work part-time at the hospital doing what I love...and full time as a mom at home too!!
~~~
This year's Christmas party was just as fun as last years -- and the kids had a blast with all the activities, singing, presents and even a visit from Santa!!
(And little Eli even got in on some of that action!!)
Zachary's Best Friends...Issac and Seth
Bethany and Madalyn with Zachary
And Zachary even got a bigger surprise when Daddy showed up!!
Barnes Family Pictures
On the Barnes side of the family, we decided to get some pictures of the children and grandchildren and give them out as Christmas presents. Everything worked out great and the pics turned out pretty good too! And now that we have officially given out the gifts, I can post a few of the pics!! Merry Christmas 2009!
Sheldon Girls Dinner -- December
For our December dinner, the Sheldon girls met up at Olive Garden in Mt. Juliet. We missed Ashleigh being there -- but made up for it by shopping for her "Exam Week Care Package" that we filled with all kinds of goodies!! Only one pic -- but we had a great night!!
Barnes/Reeder/Hudson Thanksgiving
I'm ashamed at the lack of pictures I took over the holidays...but I thought I would post the ones that I do have!! These are various pics from the Thanksgiving get-togethers with Nathan's side of the family. All of the time spent together was wonderful, even if I don't have many pictures to show for it!! :)
The cousins...minus Eli, who was eating at the time!! (Imagine that!)
