Summer Haircuts, All Around!

Yep -- I took the boys a couple of weeks ago and they both got their summer haircuts! (A week after mine...) Which, yes - was Eli's first! He did very good too -- I mean, I had to sit with him because of the whole "separation anxiety" that we are dealing with -- but he did fine with the buzzing! The haircut was mostly for the rat-tail thing he had going on in the back -- and it turned out great! Kudos to Zachary for taking the pictures for me!!

And here are a few shots of the Big Brother getting his new summer cut.

Happy 35th Birthday Nate!

Okay, so even though we celebrated Nathan's birthday with my family for all the June celebrations -- we also had a small family party for him to on his actual birthday. Here are a few pics....
I know I'm biased, but he doesn't look 35 to me!

Zachary decided to get Daddy a new softball glove -- since his other one was "old, dirty and yucky!" :)
And it wouldn't be a good party without one of Nathan's favorite things...ICE CREAM CAKE!

Now little E slept through gift time -- but was wide awake when it came time to eat! Imagine that!

Happy Independence Day Everyone!
God Bless You & Our Country!

"The general principles upon which the Fathers achieved independence were the general principals of Christianity...I will avow that I believed and believe that those general principles of Christianity are as eternal and immutable as the existence and attributes of God."

"[July 4th] outht to be commemorated as the day of deliverance by solemn acts of devotion to God Almighty."

June "Sheldon" Party

A couple of weeks ago, we hosted the June Celebrations at our house. We celebrated birthdays for Nathan, Megan and Rachel. And we celebrated Father's Day for Daddy and Nathan. It was a great time, as usual! We always look forward to these meets -- Zachary loves his Grammie and Peepaw -- and all his aunts and uncles!

Shake it baby!
Did someone say "Separation Anxiety??"
The sisters -- we miss you Ashleigh!!

And ofcourse, it would be a Sheldon gathering without a little music...
...and football!

T-Ball Wrap Up

Well, another sports season has ended for Zachary. He finished up with his last t-ball game last week. They did so good this year and I am so proud of him! I think he might be a little ball player yet!! (Ofcourse, I am a little biased...) :)
Here are some final pics of this season!

And ofcourse, any time he got to score a run -- had HAD to slide into home plate! :)

Another slide...

Zachary did so good throughout the season, that he ended up getting moved to short stop for the last four or five games! He did great!

Lovin' my buddy!
And little Eli -- Zachary's biggest fan! (Well, I'll tie him for first!)

More fans...Zachary's best friend from church and preschool, Bethany, and her sister and friend, Brenna and Halie stopped by to cheer Zachary on one night!

This is Eli's new laugh -- with a VERY crinckled nose!

Football starts again this fall so tune back to find out more!
