The second field trip this month was to Ms. Nell's Farm...one of our teachers at Little Lights. This trip was a BIG deal because the children got to ride the......drum roll.....SCHOOL BUS!!! I mean, you talk about a treat! They were so excited!!! At the farm we got to pet/feed the animals...there were cows, donkeys, chickens, baby chics, etc. And the kids all got to pick an egg out of the hen house....yeah, that was a first for me too! :) Zachary had so much fun...and so did everyone that went!
Eli wasn't too impressed with all the animals...but he was a good sport about the whole thing!
Zachary fell in love with the baby chickens! And I bet I said, "No we cannot take it home" at least thirty times!
And after the activities, there was obviously time for some ice cream! Don't worry -- their hands were VERY CLEAN before snack time, I assure you!
