February 16th: Oh Happy Day!

Alright, let's get caught up here! Tyler's birthday was obviously one of the best days of my life...however, it was also one of the worst/hardest. We knew the labor part was going to be tough do to my history, but we didn't expect how bad it would be due to my broken pelvis and heart rate ranging from 50 to about 190 due to my heart disease. Let's just say that it all seemed unbearable at the time...and I must admit, I was very scared. However, at 10:51am...God blessed us with a healthy baby boy and the fear/pain all went away! Due to the fact that he was premature, I was a little nervous -- but when he took that first breath and let out that loud scream, Nathan and I breathed a sigh of relief! The NICU team was present for his birth and we were very pleased to get their thumbs up!!

Go easy here...at this point I had been awake for 32+ hours and in labor for...oh, about 11 weeks!!

I still can't believe that Tyler was our earliest baby, yet he weighed the most!!

Our wonderful doctor...Dr.T -- we would not have our three precious boys had it not been for him and his staff!
It was finally over...

Zachary was so excited about Tyler being born -- and just as we expected, he took to the "Big Brother" role perfectly! (again)

Eli wasn't too sure about Tyler and it took him about a week to warm up to him. However, that night in the hospital, he held it together for a few minutes before the tears came out! Poor thing...he just didn't understand any of it!

One big brother thing that Eli did when he met Tyler was to make sure and point out that he did in fact have his "eyes, nose and mouth." :)

And more visitors...I obviously didn't get a picture of everyone, but here are the ones that I do have to share.

Getting ready to finally go home!!!

You can tell by my color that my heart didn't like any of those previous 36 hours!!

And we're off...

Love those pictures!!! Boys are a soooo fun!!! I do have some shoes and purses around here, but the boy stuff is still taking!!

LOVE Dr. Trabue!!!!!! So thankful that sweet Tyler is here and you all are doing well.

WOW All those visitors...we almost had to pay someone to come visit us when Mason was in the hospital because we got bored. After over 20 people in 12 hours with Matthew we asked for NO visitors for the last 2!! :)

WE need to have a playdate soon!!!
