General Update on the Boys

Well, 2009 was a crazy year for us -- with a new baby, new job schedule, new home, etc....we were filled with blessings after blessing!! But nothing is better than having a healthy family! Zachary and Eli are doing great!! Zachary is "Big 5" now and Eli is going on nine months old!! Zachary continues to amaze Nathan and me on how great he is as a big brother. He loves to hold Eli, play with him, read to him and take care of him too! If Eli starts crying, or falls over -- Zachary is usually the first one to him! It's great to watch!

Zachary is loving life right now with his new four-wheeler! (I am warming up to it -- three and a half years working in the adult Trauma Unit at Vanderbilt ruined me when it comes to four wheelers and motorcycles!!)

Zachary was playing in his Thomas tent in this pic -- until I didn't hear anything and went to look and found this...
Eli is doing good. He isn't crawling yet -- maybe because he is a little spoiled??? :) It is so neat to watch him learn new things -- simple things like using his hands to grab things, sitting up, recognizing people -- etc. This pic was fun to shoot because Eli realized that the little boy I was holding in the mirror image was actually him!

And he still isn't big on baby food yet -- but we are getting there. He will usually take about one jar a day -- if that! One baby step at a time, right??

This pic above is the "Give it up mom and fix me a freaking bottle!!" face!
