I must say that I am loving this new life of no school, no clinicals, no studying for exams, writing papers, driving 100+ miles every day, etc... I have had six days (straight) off of work and Zachary and I have spent every day together -- mostly at the pool! I am so proud of him and I love watching him learn new things and become less and less afraid to try new things...remind me of this love when he is a teenager and into all kinds of crazy stuff! Ha! No, as someone at the pool said earlier this week -- he really is a great kid! He is learning to swim despite the fact that he fell into the pool the other day without his "fwoaties" on -- talk about giving mom another heart attack!! He was only under water for a few seconds -- but it felt like I couldn't get to him quick enough! Long story short -- he was fine and only called the pool the "mean pool" for about twelve hours!
