I drove out to Lebanon today to drop some things off at school when Zachary and I decided to go to the park for a while. We stopped at "Somix" (3 year old code for Sonic), grabbed something to eat and headed over to the park for some afternoon fun. It seems like every time we've stopped there before, we have had to rush so much because of the crazy schedule of being a full time mom, student and employee -- but today we took our time. We slid down every slide, swung on every swing, played hide and seek, racing and had a blast doing it all! We literally were there for hours! When we got back in the car to leave, I turned around to ask Zachary if he had fun today, and his reply to me was "Yep, sure did! Mommy, we are best friends!" Wow -- there are certain moments as a mom that you vow to yourself never to forget -- that moment, to hear my little boy say that with his big brown eyes smiling up at me was definitely one of those moments.

Hi Lindsey - I didn't realize you all had a blog. Or maybe you told me but it didn't stick in my brain. That's very possible. Anyway, it's really neat- cool background, music, and I like the verse and picture at the top. I can't do anything that high-tech with ours. :) I'm gonna "link you up" to ours.
