A College Grad -- AT LAST!

Wow -- this weekend has been so wonderful. As most of you know, I finally graduated with my Bachelor's of Science in Nursing from Cumberland University. Seven years ago I graduated from high school, and now -- four schools, three different majors, one Associate's degree and two years taken off of school for health reasons later -- I have finally completed my goals. AND IT FEELS GREAT!!! As an update, I have been "officially" hired at Vanderbilt Children's Hospital where I will work in pediatric oncology. I will take my National Boards, aka the NCLEX, within the next four weeks -- and then officially become "Lindsey Barnes, RN, BSN." Thank you again to everyone for your love and support throughout this journey -- without you all, it could not have been possible. More graduation pics to come and I will post some more pics of our pinning ceremony at a later time as well...right now, I am headed to take a nap! Until then -- WOOT WOOT!!!!!
