If The Shoe Fits...Buy One In Every Color!

Well, that's always been my motto!! :) And of course I have applied that concept to my children, but hey -- when you find a good deal, you go for it all the way! There is no half-way point! :) ~~~~~
Anyway, with that said...a few weeks ago I totally freaked out when I realized that Eli could be born any day now and we didn't really have any clothes for him! See, Hurricane Katrina hit at the end of August 2005 when Zachary was nine months old. Nathan and I were so broken hearted to see all of those babies in that football stadium in nothing but onsies and we had TONS of clothes packed away that we were saving for our next child. So, needless to say -- we sent everything but two or three outfits down south...so we were left with nothing...not even a onsie!
~~~~~
This is where Eli benefits! Okay I admit, maybe I've gone a "little" overboard, but everything I have bought has been on sale -- and was totally worth every dime! :) I've hit up some great sales at JC Pennys, Kohls, Goodys, Target, The Children's Place, Gymboree, Gap, Old Navy and of course Walmart! Don't worry -- the shopping has slowed down a lot since "bedrest" got involved! Well, yesterday on my way home from the doctor, I played hookie from bedrest for an hour and I found even more good deals! So I have decided to post some pics of his new little outfits! This isn't everything, but it is some of what we have so far. And kudos to Nathan for not fussing about any of this...he's great!
I love the monkeys -- Zachary thinks this is Curious George outfits!
These outfits came with matching bibs....the one with the turtle on it says "Speedstar"
Zachary helped pick these out...I love the embroidered animals!
Depending on when he is born...we might use the overalls for the "Coming Home" outfit.
I love this one...
These were some clothes we picked up at Children's Place to match Zachary -- they are gonna be too cute together!
So most everything I have bought has been 0-3months. But I have gotten some newborn outfits...now it is looking like I should've invested in more preemie stuff! Hopefully not...until next time, keep an eye out for all those sales!
