Father's Day 2011

Like I said in the previous post, we were at my parents' house during Father's Day, which actually worked out great because we were able to do something special with Zachary that I had been promising him for a while. One of the things I loved to do growing up was go fishing. And when we couldn't actually leave and go to a lake or river, I would get my stuff and go down to the pond at the end of my parents' road and fish there. So -- when the other two boys went down for naps, Peepaw helped us get ready and a bunch of us headed down the street. Zachary was psyched!!!! We had a lot of fun even though Nathan was the only one to catch a fish. Next time we go I WON'T be wearing suit pants (that I had to roll up) and it will be about 20 degrees cooler! :)

And Zachary is already a true fisherman because every time he tells this story, the fish gets bigger and bigger! :)

The boys were WORN OUT when we finally got back home!
