"On a hill far away stood an old rugged cross,
The emblem of suffering and shame;
And I love that old cross, where the dearest and best
For a world of lost sinners was slain.
The emblem of suffering and shame;
And I love that old cross, where the dearest and best
For a world of lost sinners was slain.
So I'll cherish the old rugged cross,
Till my trophies at last I lay down;
I will cling to the old rugged cross,
Till my trophies at last I lay down;
I will cling to the old rugged cross,
And exchange it someday for a crown....."

Easter blessing are everywhere in life...my blessing has been and always will be my little boy Zachary. While I am always going to strive to teach him the true meaning of the Christian holidays, such as Easter, it is still fun to do exciting "mom" things with him as well...such as Easter Egg Hunts!!

Easter morning: Zachary came downstairs to find that the Easter Bunny had left him a basket on the fireplace...filled with all kinds of goodies!
Here's to another generation of good-looking preachers!!

There was a surprise Egg Hunt, or candy hunt at church after the service. While the weather was very cold -- the kids still had fun searching for the hidden candy.
Zachary and Preston -- believe it or not, this was the best pic I could get -- they each had eaten a little too much sugar to try and pose for a good picture...
