Every year at Christmas, members of our church ride on the Watertown trolley and go from door to door in the neighborhood singing Christmas carols! We especially stop to sing for some of the elderly people in the church and in the community that don't get to get out as often. This was our 7th year participating in this with everyone. It really is a neat event and all the kids love it too. Zachary loves any excuse to ride the trolley -- and to get to sing Rudolph the Red Nose Reindeer a gazillion times in one night made him very happy!! It wasn't as cold as in the years past, but the rainy mist made it quite chilly! Then, after the caroling was over, we all headed back to the church for some chili, cornbread, crackers and other country goodies! This is a tradition that I have really grown to love over the years...and I am so thankful that we live in a neighborhood where it is safe to have such events.
