The Sweet Sounds of Christmas

The family tradition continues... A couple of weeks ago, my sister and I were able to track down my father's piano which he has had since he was 16 years old. Long story short -- it was misplaced, traded and left to various people...but Rachel and I were able to track it down and we retrieved it. (Thanks Rachel!) Needless to say, ever since we found it, our house has been full of the sound of a three year old learning to play...well, trying to learn! And while the notes make no sense, and the songs are made up and change daily -- it is the sweetest sound in the world. I am so thankful that we were able to retrieve such a precious family treasure.

Oh, I remember that piano! I can hear your dad playing "Postal Worker Blues" on it right now. :)
