Snow Days in Tennessee

Well the snow started on Thursday night and by Friday morning, our little country area looked beautiful covered in white! And even though it was just what my dad would call a "dusting", and the fact that it melted by that afternoon -- Zachary and I did what most Tennesseans do in this weather...we got all dressed up and went out to play!!
We decided to build a snowman! I started at the top of the hill and got his lower portion down to the bottom. Well, when I went back to the top of the hill to make his middle portion, I saw my sweet little boy trying to roll the snowball to the correct place in front of the house. He tried with all his might -- but the snowball was winning!

He tried pushing it...

He tried pulling it...
He even tried yelling at it....
(that comes from his daddy)

And alas, on final push that made for a great picture!!
I came to the rescue and we finished "her" perfectly.

And then Zachary really decided to show the "Nathan" in him when he started a snowball fight! You see, the first summer that Nathan and I started hanging out...I first picked up on his "flirtatious" side when every Friday I would get drenched in water balloons!! Or, if we were washing dishes at the camp, he would insist on being the "rinser" and use the spray gun to get me wet again. :) Uh huh...guess the little teenager from Cheatham County did catch his eye pretty early! :) We loved every minute of it and still carry on water fight traditions to this day! While Zachary's water was frozen...he still had that sparkle in his eye just like his daddy did!
(Nate has a better aim though!)
It's sledding time!

This is after he was sledding backwards down the hill.
And this is his picture of me sledding down the hill backwards! Nice shot, huh?
And don't worry -- I was careful! But pregnant or not, I can't pass up an opportunity to have a little fun!
And here are just some scenery shots.
