...And the walls came TUMBLING down!

So my husband tried to kill me earlier this week...guess that life insurance policy on me is a tad bit too high! :) Just kidding. Seriously though, we did have a close call on Thursday. About a month ago, Nathan hung up some shelves in the laundry room to give us more storage space (all in the mind set of getting ready for Eli). Well Thursday, I was getting some clothes out of the washing machine and reached up to grab our tote that I store our sheet in...great day to change beds!! When I pulled down the tote, all three shelves (they were on a track) came down off the wall and everything on them landed right on top of me! All I could think about was "turn Lindsey and nothing will hit Eli!" The next thing I know, I am on the floor -- surrounded by shattered glass, shelves on top on me, my head throbbing, cuts all over and with Zachary screaming in the kitchen..."Mommy!!!! Your "feetsies" (his code word for feet) are bleeding! Are you okay???"
~~~~~
My heart rate jumped up to...oh, I don't know...about 4000!! :) But all in all, everything was fine and its a miracle that nothing hit the precious cargo in my belly! I did lose all my ceramic dishes, glasses, vases and cookie jars, but I do know that all of that is replaceable! The only thing salvaged was my cookbooks and my ice cream maker (Nate was happy about that one!) Nathan felt horrible about the situation, even though it wasn't his fault, and stayed up till midnight that night fixing my shelves back. This time, making sure they won't fall again!
(I do think I am gonna lower that insurance policy though, just in case!) :)
