When Zachary was on fall break in October, Nathan and I decided to take the boys to Chattanooga for the weekend. We've been talking about it for a long time and decided that now was as good of time as any -- so I planned the weekend, bought the tickets and we headed out! We crammed a lot into our little trip, so I'll break the events up into different posts as to not over load anyone with pictures! :) This first post is about the hotel we stayed in....we decided that if we were gonna go to Chattanooga -- we were going to do it right! So we booked a train car at the Chattanooga Choo-Choo hotel and had the best experience!!! Zachary was so excited that we got to sleep on a train...eat on a train...take a shower on a train...etc! In his words, "Mom - this is just too much!" And it almost was -- it was a very unique experience and one we will do again sometime!

After we got checked in, we headed right out to visit Lookout Mountain (that's the next post) but when we got back, we enjoyed some time at their indoor pool.
And then we headed back to the room to get ready to go out and get some dinner. But then we made one of the best decisions of the trip....ROOM SERVICE!! Now Nate and I love a good steak dinner....but there is something about enjoying that dinner in our pajamas, in a train car and watching a good football game! Zachary was psyched!!
And their bed was perfect for two very tired little boys!!!
