After we got all checked in to the hotel, there wasn't much time before the daylight ended - so we took a quick trip up the Incline Railway to Lookout Mountain. This was decided "on a whim" and we quickly learned that once you got to the top of the mountain, without other transportation...there wasn't much to do or see! So we walked around a few shops and headed back down. Although our time spent up high was limited, we still enjoyed the ride up and back. I was very shocked at how steep the ride was - and it was very unsettling, but it was a neat experience. Plus, the view from the top was amazing.
