North Carolina Party

At the end of August, we traveled for a very quick trip to North Carolina to celebrate Nathan's grandmother's 80th birthday. It was a surprise party for her along with a surprise family reunion with her side of the family. Nathan has been through a lot over the last few years with losing three grandparents, so we really do cherish all the time that we get to spend with the remaining two. Granny Hudson lives a few miles from us and we are blessed to see her weekly. Plus, we have Sunday afternoon lunch at her house each week - but we don't get to see Mamaw Barnes very often. So we love getting to take little trips to visit her - no matter how long they end up being. We hope to get back to NC soon, but until then - here are the pictures. I didn't get too many this time because of chasing Little E around and because of lack of time....but I did get a few good ones.

One good thing about the trip was that everyone from our immediate family was able to make it!

The siblings with Mamaw.

All the cousins had a good time together...here is Madison, Eli, Zachary and Zoe - Alicia was sitting with a friend not too far away.

Granny and Aunt Paula
The boys were worn out....as you can tell from these nap time pictures!
