The "Big Boys" Bunkbed Room

Another fun event over fall break was getting Zachary and Eli's room painted and the bunkbeds installed. Never in a million years would I have thought that I would have a bedroom in my house that was orange, green and blue -- but I must say, it turned out GREAT!!! See, before we knew we were expecting another sweet child, Zachary was super excited about the extension getting done because he would finally get his own room again. And then, surprise!! Baby B #3 needed his own room and so Zachary and Eli get to continue to share! But we made up for it by buying some bunk beds and letting Zachary sleep on top! Eli is doing great with them too -- and with the design of the beds in the "T" shape -- Eli doesn't even fall out of his bed! Eli likes the change now, but I am interested to see how he reacts to baby Tyler in his old crib -- because right now he isn't enjoying the fact that the nursery room is decorated and ready to go and he isn't allowed in there! Oh boy - we might be in for it!! :) Once Tyler gets older, we will most likely bunk up Eli and Tyler together and give Zachary his own room again, but that is years away. As of now, everyone is happy!

Getting their name boards ready to go...

Their beds -- I love them!
