Class of 2023 Graduates Kindergarten

On May 31st, our little buddy graduated from Kindergarten. Wow. I can't believe my beautiful little boy will be starting first grade this fall....this is all moving so fast! We are so proud of Zachary and the young man that he is becoming. The night was wonderful and was full of smiles, laughter and yes, some tears. Some people may think that a graduation from kindergarten is dumb or goofy....but for me, it is a memory that I will cherish forever and never forget.

Zachary and his WONDERFUL teacher Mrs. Erica

If you know Zachary at all, you know that he loves to be center of attention....but around people he knows very well. When it comes to being on "stage" in front of a crowd, he hates it. In fact, the last three times that he has had to perform in front of an audience, he has thrown up the night before. Well, graduation wasn't any different. Around 2am, he starting throwing up and I was worried that he was getting a virus. But the first thing he said when I got him cleaned up was, "Well I guess I don't have to go to graduation tonight." Little stinker, needless to say that he made it through and did fine. However, his face in these next pictures tell all about how much he was nervous!!

"K is for kindergarten. Hip hip hooray!!"

That was the only line he had to say, and he practiced it over and over and OVER again to make sure that he would get it right!!

When Zachary went through the line to get his diploma -- it was hilarious. I've never seen a kid walk that fast before in my life! He wanted so bad to get his time to shine over with and quickly! So this is the first picture I got...

And this was the next one....he flew through that line! :)

Oh stink...I just realized that this one showed up sideways.... oh well. He won the math award in his class and was so proud of himself!

Ah...this one is sideways too...shucks. Sorry.
