Eli turned three on April 23rd, but we've held off on his party due to crazy schedules and myself being too sick to plan a party. But, we are going forth with it this coming weekend so those pictures will be posted soon. However, on birthday night -- it's tradition for the birthday boy to pick the meal. Well, Eli wanted a cake instead of dinner. (Don't worry...he had dinner, but got to pick a cake too.) We usually wait until the party to do the whole "cake thing" because our family isn't big on eating sweets and most of it is trashed. But it is what E wanted, and so it is what we did! :) He picked it out at the bakery and we headed for the house. (FYI...sweets make me sick at my stomach, even just the smell of them cooking -- so they always get to pick out their cakes from a professional!!)
