So in September was the one mile run for Zachary's school. He has been wanting to do the for FOREVER but they don't start it until the second grade. Obviously Nathan wasn't allowed to run at that point, so I had to step up and run it with him. Being the track runner that I used to be -- Zachary and I formulated a plan. A plan all about hanging back at the start, saving your energy for the end, etc.... But when the gun went off....ZOOM ZOOM ZACHARY! Needless to say that he tuckered out at about three forth through, but he pushed hard and finished 6th overall in the whole second grade...with Mommy in tow I might add! :) So proud of our little man! And a big thanks to Aunt Rae Rae for coming out to support Zachary and watch the other two so I could run!
